Whenever you have a concern like this, don’t take matters into YOUR own hands: call an experienced Kirkdale Bumblebee Nest Removal service near me exterminator who will know exactly what steps need to be taken.
Frequently seen bumblebees in England
The Southern Cuckoo Bee is a species of Bumblebee that can be found throughout the UK. They are mainly black in colour and have pale yellow markings on their head and thorax. They are around 15-20mm in size and are one of the smaller species of Bumblebee. Unlike most other bumblebees. Southern Cuckoo Bees can sting, but they are not considered particularly aggressive. They typically live in colonies of around 50-100 individuals.
Heath Bumblebees are a native species of Bumblebee found throughout the UK. They are smaller than the more common Bumblebee and typically have black and yellow fur. Heath Bumblebees nest in small colonies of around 10-25 individuals and will sting if threatened. Mating season for Heath Bumblebees begins in early summer. The bees can be found collecting pollen and nectar from various flowers. After mating, the female will create a small nest of wax and pollen. She will then raise her young alone until they are old enough to venture out and start their colonies.
The Red Tail Bee (Bee Bombus lapidarius). They are about the size of a honeybee, and their colours range from yellow to red. This bee species is often seen in neat clusters on flowers, leaves, or tree bark which make them very easy to spot.
The Red Tail Bees like to nest underground in fields that border on shrubs, but they also love nesting in gardens with flowers. These bees will usually swarm in colonies, but there have been times when they’re spotted alone roaming through various neighbourhoods.

I could not fault the service which I used for a wasp nest above a bedroom window. After contacting the company I received a phone call back within a few minutes to book the treatment the following day. Unfortunately it was raining heavily and someone phoned to say the treatment is not fully effective in the rain and they would prefer to postpone. The wasps were getting in the house and they suggested we try to put tape around any possible access points, which we did. Another day was booked but unfortunately the same thing occurred. This is Manchester after all. I was given the option of going ahead or postponing again and chose the latter as I wanted it to be as effective as possible. On the next appointment day, which was dry, they phoned and said they would be at my home in 20 minutes. Sure enough they were. I got a good explanation of what they did, how the wasps would react, how long it would take to work and I could watch the process. I pointed out where the wasps were gathering and straight away the technician saw another, smaller nest area. They treated both very quickly with no mess. In view of having to change the date twice they just charged for one treatment, despite me saying it wasn't their fault. I was very impressed with the overall service, the informative description of the process and the fact that within two days there were no more signs of wasps. If there has been they said they come back and do another treatment for no extra charge. I was even asked if I minded them staying on the drive whilst they contacted the next customer. Youngs Pest Control give a brilliant, efficient, informative and friendly service. If I could give ten stars in the review I would.Posted on AndrewTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. How Weather Affects Bumblebees In Kirkdale
Bumblebee nests are highly affected by weather conditions. Warm, dry spells boost activity and colony growth, often leading to larger nests near gardens or properties. In contrast, colder or wetter periods slow them down, but once conditions improve, bumblebees quickly become more active and noticeable around homes.
