Bumblebees may look cute and innocent, but they can be pretty dangerous to kids. That’s because these little creatures can sting multiple times, and their stings often leave a searing pain that lingers long after the bee is gone. They also release venom with each sting. If you’re allergic, this will result in Anaphylactic shock, and symptoms include vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, hives, breathing difficulties, and more! If you experience any symptoms, you should talk to a doctor or go to the ER immediately and ring a Bumblebee exterminator to get rid of Bumblebees.
Like all other bee species, Bumblebees are pretty common in the UK. However, there are over 25 species, and each one needs different eradication methods. They can be found in a range of places, including -garages, roof spaces, cracks in walls, cervices; they also nest in the ground at times and trees, but they are not limited to these places and can nest anywhere near your dwelling.
Bumblebees, like all bees, construct their nests out of wax. These nests are generally found in a sheltered location, such as under the eaves of a building or within a dense bush. Once a colony has built up to about 4-5 females, they will readily expand their nest by adding additional chambers – where the queen will lay her eggs. The larvae will be raised until they metamorphose into adult bumblebees! After each section is full of pupae and food gathered from flowers nearby, the bee leaves on its way to collect more nectar and pollen for future use. We have provided some info on a few familiar types of Bumblebees to understand better.
The early bee is a tiny, black and yellow bee that lives in the United Kingdom. It is usually 10-12 mm long and has a wingspan of about 18-20 mm. The early bee is a social insect that creates colonies. The colonies are generally small, with around 10-30 bees inside. The early bee is a forager.
The common carder bumblebee is a large black and yellow bee that lives in the United Kingdom. It is typically 15-20 mm long and has a 25-30 mm wingspan. The common carder bumblebee is a social bee that dwells in colonies. The colonies are generally big, with around 500-2000 bees inside.
The whitetail bumblebee is a European and North American species of bumblebee. This bee has a black body, yellow hair, and a distinctive whitetail. They are approximately 15-17 millimetres long. The whitetail bee lives in nests and may be found throughout Europe and North America, from open fields to forests,

Very nice man told exactly what will happen and said about a week they will be gone then il block up the brick work , and if they have not gone by then he will come back again guaranteed and no charge thank you .Posted on Jacqueline HadfieldTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I could not fault the service which I used for a wasp nest above a bedroom window. After contacting the company I received a phone call back within a few minutes to book the treatment the following day. Unfortunately it was raining heavily and someone phoned to say the treatment is not fully effective in the rain and they would prefer to postpone. The wasps were getting in the house and they suggested we try to put tape around any possible access points, which we did. Another day was booked but unfortunately the same thing occurred. This is Manchester after all. I was given the option of going ahead or postponing again and chose the latter as I wanted it to be as effective as possible. On the next appointment day, which was dry, they phoned and said they would be at my home in 20 minutes. Sure enough they were. I got a good explanation of what they did, how the wasps would react, how long it would take to work and I could watch the process. I pointed out where the wasps were gathering and straight away the technician saw another, smaller nest area. They treated both very quickly with no mess. In view of having to change the date twice they just charged for one treatment, despite me saying it wasn't their fault. I was very impressed with the overall service, the informative description of the process and the fact that within two days there were no more signs of wasps. If there has been they said they come back and do another treatment for no extra charge. I was even asked if I minded them staying on the drive whilst they contacted the next customer. Youngs Pest Control give a brilliant, efficient, informative and friendly service. If I could give ten stars in the review I would.Posted on AndrewTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. How Weather Affects Bumblebees In Blackley
Bumblebee nests are highly affected by weather conditions. Warm, dry spells boost activity and colony growth, often leading to larger nests near gardens or properties. In contrast, colder or wetter periods slow them down, but once conditions improve, bumblebees quickly become more active and noticeable around homes.
